Bamboo armchairs

I think soon people will start calling me the "Chair Lady". I seem to have amassed a collection and don't have a place for them! I may need to sell a few on eBay.

These are two old bamboo armchairs I picked up recently for a steal at $10 each. The previous owner told they used to belong to the Intercontinental Hotel. I plan to refresh these and either swap them out with the existing armchairs or give them a home outdoors.

The cushions that come with the chairs have faded over time and they are in need of a fresh new fabric cover. I have the perfect tropical print in mind if I can get my hands on it.

I'm thinking of painting the frame white to match my other furniture but I'm undecided at this stage. The chairs look lovely in the photographs but in person the frame is quite worn and scratched.

Also there are some pieces of bamboo missing which you can see in the photograph above so I will need to replace the missing pieces.

A nice holiday project to sink my teeth into.
