Wow - what an exhausting weekend. I hope yours was more relaxing that mine. For some reason I decided to paint the stairway leading into the studio and garage. I didn't realise just how big a job it would be. Granted the steps needed a new coat but I chose to change the colour from grey to white. Turns out I'll need to paint at least three coats to completely cover up the grey.
While I was armed with a paint brush I painted the doors and lower half of the walls in Dulux Whisper White.
Although I like the freshness of the white for the steps I feel as though I need to add a contrasting colour to the top part of the walls to make the space feel warmer otherwise it is just, well, white.
Here's where I need your help, please! What colour might you recommend for the walls? A grey? Blue? Or something else? A dark or light shade? I know colour choices are a personal thing but I just can't decide and I found myself staring blankly at the rainbow display of paint chips at the hardware store today. I would love to hear from you and it will help me narrow down the search for the perfect colour.
Now I should go and try to get the white strands of paint out of my hair. Ugh. I was being so careful too...
