I know I'm 30 years old and probably shouldn't be so afraid of bugs and creepy crawlies but every time I go to sleep at night I throw open the sheets to see if there are any bugs lurking.
Which is why, although I absolutely love the photo above (the stripes, white floorboards, high ceiling!), I don't think I could rest easy at night without climbing up there first to check nothing has made its home on the canopy. Pity because it is a lovely idea.
And let's not talk about the weird noises I hear at night. This old house plays havoc with my imaginative mind. What will happen when my son is older and wants me to check under his bed for the boogeyman?
