If you haven't heard of the design firm
Sixx Design you will very soon. They've released a new book called
Downtown Chic which I'm craving and it seems so are lots of people around the blogosphere!
The book is written by husband and wife Robert and Cortney Novogratz and they document ten of their renovation projects from New York City, to Massachusetts and Brazil with before and after shots.
You can read more about the book and purchase it
here. In the meantime, below are some of my favourite interiors of theirs.
LOVE: White floors, walls and ceiling with pops of colour. Oh and the arcade games are pretty cool too!
LOVE: The union jack hanging and that cute motorcycle!
LOVE: This combined study/bedroom with the sweet photograph above the bed.
LOVE: White combined with yellow in a kitchen and the use of different coloured dining chairs.
LOVE: The artwork and that fab lighting!
LOVE: The pinboard and chalkboard (for writing the latest surf report no less!).
LOVE: The unexpected placing of an old column in this study room and the old chair upholstered with bright blue fabric
LOVE: The row of star shaped lighting and the photograph of the children. Is that a moustache I see painted on one child? Cute!
LOVE: The colourful rug and gigantic Tupac photograph
Does anyone already have this book? If so, drop me a comment below and let me know what you think of it. I'd love to hear from you.
