Cutting, folding, gluing, tying, wrapping and finally posting my son's christening invitations.
We settled on something a little different from the usual paper invitations. I purchased boxes of recycled paper coloured pencils, wrapped a simple invite around the lower half and tied off the boxes with a bright running stitch ribbon.
We've asked guests to write Robbie a little message or create a drawing for him as a gift and we'll compile it into a keepsake album for him. I hope a few of our family and friends play along. It would be nice to look back on when he is older to understand.
